Why wont my natural gas BBQ get hotter than 300 degrees?

I have a natural gas line of 15' feet 1/2" copper with quick disconnect, leading into 6' of grey 3/8" flex line then connected to my BBQ. Total BTU of the BBQ is 77,000 and I rarely have everything going at once. The main burners are 45,000 BTU, with all three turned up full blast, the temperature will not go past 300 degrees running for a full hour. I have confirmed 7" water column and no condensation. No blockages in any of the line and it is the proper orfice size for natural gas. What else could it be?
It is confirmed Natural Gas, I called the company with the serial number.

I'm thinking this grill is not set up for Natural gas, but propane. Make sure.
