How much lunch meat and cheese should I buy for a large wedding?
My fiancee and I are having a large wedding of about 290 people. Yes, that many! To cut costs we want to make lunch meat trays and have a lunch time wedding with a picnic theme. How many Ibs. of lunch meat should I get for about 290 people? How many pounds of cheese?
You could go to a grocery store that makes lunch meat trays, and it should say on the box how many people it would feed. Or, you could call a caterer and ask them their opinion, but make sure you lead them to believe you'll be buying it from them. Or to make things easier for you and the guests, why not just buy a bunch of the 2 feet subs and cut them up?
