Quick answer… how do you increase the temperature of coals in a grill?
Plz, I need a really quick hint. Purchased coals, dunno what company, we already sent the package into tinder-land. Trying to make Shish kebab. Should we keep the grill open or closed while the flames are still there? Then close it?
Theres generally no way to 'increase' the temp,but the more volume of coals that are on the grill,the hotter the cooking surface will be.
Try doubleing-up on the coals when you first load up the grill. For brochettes or (shish-kebab as you say) cook on a hot surface of the grill,(try to rotate them away from the flames,but still hot) around 3-5 minutes,close grill lid another 2 minutes.
That should do it.
